Couch 2 5K

This summer, I decided to start the Couch 2 5K program. I know it’s important for me to move more not only for my physical health but to complement all the work I’ve put into my mental and emotional health!

I thought about doing martial arts, dance or yoga to get active. And then I remembered this program. It’s something my son and I can do together, and we both need it! He needs the physical activity this summer to help him fight boredom, manage behavior and run a faster mile next year in school. Together, we’ll meet our fitness goals, get out of the house and move more.

I know this program will challenge me, but I’m excited to see what happens. Thank you for encouraging me on this journey to physical wellness. And if you have any tips or advice, feel free to share!
